Review: What can we say.We now have the best Kitchen and conservatory in Selby.Not only did Matthew do a fantastic job but also took care of another issue in our front room. We took up the wooden flooring to reavel where an old fireplace and surround had been. The following day it was all level . You could have played pool on it.Hopefully the photos will show what a great job he has done.On a final note, when someone had cracked a tile while fitting the skirting board, Matthew will come back in his own time and replace it for us.What more can we say.Thank you again.Steve & Michelle. Review: Matthew Taylor Tiling ServicesWe engaged Matthew Taylor Tiling Services to tile our main basement room. Matthew helped us choose the right quarry tiles and grouting, giving good advice. Matthew was able to provide images of previous work he had done which was similar to what we were planning. Matthew brought samples of the type of quarry tile we had in mind in different colours to help us choose exactly the right quarry tile.Matthew fitted a decoupling layer as a buffer between the concrete floor and the tiles.When the tiles were laid Matthew and Steve did a great job, creating a beautifully tiled floor with skirtings, and everything was tidied away afterwards.We now have a basement floor of beautiful red quarry tiles which looks really good and will last decades. Review: Matthew gave prompt and honest advice to a kitchen tiling query we had. As he said himself, he actually talked himself out of a job with the suggestion he provided (which will cost us around £35) where other contractors quoted £300+. Really grateful and nice to know there is a reliable tiler around for any future work myself or friends/family may need. Would definitely recommend.
